Xiaomi introduced Redmi A1 - the company's cheapest smartphone in 2022

Xiaomi showed Redmi A1 smartphone is a new model in the updated line of ultra-budget devices. It will ship without the MIUI interface, with an almost pure version of Android 12 with minimal add-ons.
Responsible for performance is a MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, which can be expanded with microSD cards.
The screen is 6.52-inch with HD+ resolution and a cutout for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. At the back is a dual main camera module with 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors.
The device supports LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The capacity of the built-in battery is 5,000 mAh. Charging power is only 10W. With dimensions of 164.9 × 76.75 × 9.09 mm, the smartphone weighs 192 grams.
So far, the Redmi A1 has made its debut in India, where it will go on sale on September 9 for Rs 6,499. The device will be released in three colors: light blue, light green and black.
