Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 smart watches announced with call receiving function

Amazfit brand (Huami) at its IFA event announced smart watches GTR 4 and GTS 4. As before, they differ in screens, but in terms of functions they are almost identical.

Displays:

• GTR 4 - 1.43″, 466×466 pixels, AMOLED, 326 ppi, tempered glass, anti-fingerprint coating and anti-reflective bezel;
• GTS 4 - 1.75″, 390x450 pixels, AMOLED, 341 ppi, tempered glass, anti-fingerprint coating.

Both models received a completely new GPS system. The manufacturer notes that this is the industry's first dual-band circular polarization antenna technology for more accurate positioning without any interference. It is 99% more accurate than portable GPS locators and supports five satellite positioning systems.

The watch also received an improved BioTracker 4.0 PPG optical sensor. It collects 33% more data than previous generation sensors. Combined with new data processing algorithms, the watch now cuts out signal interference caused by arm movement during exercise.

The watch supports more than 150 sports modes, of which 15 strength and 8 types of regular exercises are automatically recognized. Sports data can be synced to Strava, and support for Adidas Running will come later with an update thanks to a new partnership between Amazfit and Adidas Runtastic.

An updated version of Zepp OS 2.0 now allows users to choose from two widget menu layouts. Added Baby Records to their ecosystem to record baby sleep and feed times, as well as two games and apps for GoPro and Home Connect.

Among other features of the new devices, it is worth highlighting Bluetooth calls, Alexa support and offline music playback, for which 2.3 GB is allocated in memory. Monitoring the level of oxygen in the blood, measuring the heart rate, analyzing stress and breathing rhythm are also in place.

As for autonomy:

• GTR 4 with a 475 mAh battery lasts 14 days in normal mode, up to 24 days with battery saver, and up to 25 hours with always-on GPS;
• The GTS 3 with a 300 mAh battery offers up to 8 days with balanced use, up to 16 days with economy, and up to 16 hours with GPS.

The watch costs the same - $ 200 (≈12,100 rubles). The start of sales in the US is already September 2. Later - in other countries.
