How to choose comfortable and functional furniture for the kitchen (and win a certificate for purchases!)

If you want to make repairs quickly, but there is no time to wait for custom-made furniture, take a closer look at modular kitchens. They consist of separate elements - modules that are easy to combine with each other. The set of furniture is made in the same style and includes everything necessary for arranging the space: a case with doors and shelves, a countertop, legs, a plinth and fasteners. So you can equip a stylish and functional kitchen at an affordable price.

But what else you need to consider when choosing a headset:

1. Decide where the appliances will be. Inside the "working triangle" - the space between the refrigerator, sink and stove - do not place anything superfluous. These are the main functional areas in the kitchen, and you should be comfortable moving between them. Do not put the stove close to the sink - there is a risk of getting burned while washing the food. And the place for the dishwasher, on the contrary, is better to look closer to the sink, so as not to pull pipes through the entire room.

2. Provide additional outlets for small appliances. Usually, the location of the outlets is planned before repair. But if you are not going to ditch the walls, but just want to replace the headset, you can install built-in or retractable sockets in the countertop. As a rule, they are placed in blocks and allow you to connect several devices at once - for example, a kettle and a blender.
3. Add more storage space. If the kitchen is small, choose cabinets with reduced shelf space. So it will turn out to add more shelves and increase the usable volume of cabinets. To organize orderly storage, use containers and organizers. Rails with hanging baskets or shelves will help to use the free space on the walls.
4. Choose matte furniture. The glossy headset looks impressive, but fingerprints, water stains and scratches are more visible on it.
5. Free up work surfaces as much as possible. The abundance of decorative mugs, jars and flower pots can interfere with cooking and cleaning the kitchen.
