If we consider the smartphone as a case, then the autonomy of these headphones is 21 times more than AirPods Pro.
Ulefone has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the release of Armor 15, an Android 12 smartphone with built-in wireless headphones.
The gadget received a modest 5.45-inch display by modern standards - almost like in the iPhone 13 mini, but due to the massive frames, the smartphone itself is larger and more massive. MediaTek Helio G35 is responsible for performance. The main camera consists of two modules: the main one at 12 megapixels and wide-angle at 13 megapixels. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
Built-in headphones can be used not only with Armor 15: you can connect to a computer, tablet or other smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0. But Armor 15 they give priority: if the smartphone has Bluetooth turned on, they will connect automatically as soon as the user takes them out of the top corps. There are few details about the headphones themselves: judging by the description, this is a basic accessory without active noise cancellation, touch control.
Headphones withstand 5 hours of playback. If you use your smartphone only as a case for headphones, you can listen to music for 505 hours - with short breaks for recharging. This is possible thanks to the impressive battery of the smartphone: the capacity is 6,600 mAh.
The housing is protected from moisture, dust and shock according to IP68 / IP69K and MIL-STD-810G standards. There is an NFC module for contactless payment. There is a physical button on the back panel, which you can assign functions yourself: for example, a normal press will open the camera, and a double press will take a screenshot.
During the campaign on Kickstarter pre-order Ulefone Armor 15 can be pre-ordered starting at $170, the version with a case and additional attachments, including a carabiner, costs $190. At the current exchange rate, this is about 10,400 and 11,600 rubles, respectively.
The crowdfunding phase will not last long, until August 21st. After that, you will have to pay the full cost, which the manufacturer has not yet announced. At the same time, the manufacturer does not collect money for the launch of the product, but gives a discount in such an unusual way: the device is already completely ready, sending pre-orders will begin in September.
