Just 10 minutes of charging will provide 24 hours of battery life.
Oppo has announced the third generation of smartwatches. And if first Oppo Watch turned out to be a real disappointment, and second corrected the situation a little and received good reviews, then the characteristics of the third ones sound more than worthy.
The base Oppo Watch 3 received a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen covered with 3D volumetric glass. The Watch 3 Pro has a more interesting display: it's a 1.9-inch LTPO AMOLED with automatic refresh rate adjustment. This is the first Chinese watch with this display technology.
Inside is the latest Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, complemented by 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The set of sensors is the same: heart rate, pulse oximeter and ECG sensor - the latter has not yet been in the watch of the manufacturer. There are also GPS modules, NFC and eSIM support for working without a smartphone. Both models have 5 ATM water resistance (will survive diving to a depth of 5 meters).
Oppo Watch 3 received a 400 mAh battery, which will provide up to four days of standard use. The Watch 3 Pro battery already has a large capacity - 550 mAh. The declared autonomy with standard use is 5 days, with Always On - 3.5 days, and in energy-saving mode - all 15. Fast charging is present: 10 minutes is enough for the watch to work for another day, it will take about an hour to fully charge.
The Chinese version runs on ColorOS Watch 5.0. An international one has not yet been announced, so it is not known whether it will work on the same system or receive Wear OS.
The Oppo Watch 3 is priced at 1,599 yuan for the version with a silicone strap, while the watch with a leather bracelet will cost 1,699 yuan. This is about 14,400 and 15,300 rubles, respectively. With the Pro version, the same story: depending on the complete accessory, the price is 1,999 and 2,099 yuan, or 18,000 and 18,900 rubles. The start of sales in China will take place on August 19.
