Garmin has introduced a new ultra-strong and lightweight Enduro 2 smartwatch with GPS. They are aimed at athletes who do long, intense workouts in open areas. This includes TopoActive maps covering multiple continents, a bright LED flashlight and Garmin's patented SatIQ technology to help optimize battery usage.
The case is made of reinforced polymer with a titanium coating on top. 1.4-inch round display with a resolution of 280 × 280 pixels, protected by sapphire crystal, titanium bezel. The watch can withstand a pressure of 10 ATM, which is equivalent to being submerged in water up to 10 meters.
GPS and Wi-Fi modules are provided for navigation, watch updates and map downloads without connecting to a smartphone. Built-in memory is 32 GB, so you can download everything you need without worrying about the available space. The built-in solar panel will help extend battery life.
In standard mode, the autonomy is 34 days (or 46 with a solar panel), when using GPS, you should expect 110 hours of operation (or 150 with a solar panel). A power-saving mode is also available, which turns off smart functions so that the device can work in normal watch mode for up to 111 days on a single charge - and with a solar panel, all 550 days are promised.
The Garmin Enduro 2 is only available in black and comes with a silicone band and a nylon strap in the same shade. They are already on sale at a price of $1,099 (≈66,500 rubles).
