For example, when I was in India, I was shocked that there was no toilet paper in the restrooms - instead they use a hygienic shower. If there is none, jugs and buckets of water are used. Because of this, the floor of closets is often wet. It was unpleasant when the girl from the next booth flooded my shales, unsuccessfully knocking over the bucket.
Here is another story from Italy. When I asked for a latte, they brought me a glass of hot milk. At first, this caused confusion. But then the waitress explained to me that in Italian "latte" simply means milk. To get my usual drink, I had to order a “coffee latte”.
