The thinnest and lightest 11-inch tablet in the world - at least according to the manufacturer.
Huawei showed the flagship tablet MatePad Pro 11. He became the heir to last year's 10.8-inch model and received a new camera, processor, chassis and operating system - the just announced HarmonyOS 3.0.
The OLED display is 10-bit, with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A system of six speakers is responsible for high-quality sound: two high-frequency and four low-frequency.
The manufacturer uses two different processors in this model: Snapdragon 888 (5nm) and Snapdragon 870 (7nm). In addition to the chipset, the battery is also different: in both cases it has a capacity of 8300 mAh, but the version with 888 supports 67 W fast charging, and the younger model only 40 W. But even this is twice as powerful as the current iPhone.
Huawei promises up to 11.5 autonomy in the video mode stored on the device. Despite the impressive battery, the tablet weighs only 449 g and is 5.9 mm thick.
On the rear panel there is a dual camera with a main module of 13 MP (f / 1.8 aperture, autofocus) and an ultra-wide-angle module of 8 MP (f / 2.2, fixed focus). The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
As already mentioned, out of the box, the tablet runs on HarmonyOS 3.0, which has received a couple of useful improvements. One of them is Card Folder, which is similar to widget stacks in iOS and works in a similar way. Huawei has also redesigned the multitasking interface. You can have two split-screen apps open at the same time, plus two floating windows on top.
Together with the tablet, the updated Huawei M-Pencil was shown in white, which promises a more comfortable grip and smooth gliding across the screen. They also showed a new magnetic smart keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel. It can be used separately, leaving the tablet in the case away. The keyboard has an interesting trick: an antenna in the case that turns the accessory into a Wi-Fi booster.
The Snapdragon 870 tablet starts at 3,299 yuan, while the Snapdragon 888 version costs 3,599 yuan. These are 29,600 and 32,300 rubles, respectively. In both cases, this is the 8/128 GB version without mobile internet. The most expensive version with Snapdragon 888, 12/512 GB of memory and an LTE module comes with a stylus and a keyboard case at a price of 7,499 yuan (≈66,600 rubles).
Sales in China will start on August 10, the release of the international version has not yet been reported.
