Girl in Miami: new details about GTA 6

Usually rumors about Grand Theft Auto VI are spread by insiders via Twitter and Reddit, or even anonymous sources who seem to be familiar with the inner workings of Rockstar Games. A fresh portion of details about the project was an exception to the rule - details about the game and its development shared Bloomberg publication, citing its sources. Choose the main one.

• In GTA VI, for the first time, a Latino girl will be one of the playable characters. Her addition to the male protagonist is inspired by the story of bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.
• In the new game, unlike the previous ones, there will be less jokes and satire about marginalized groups.
• Rockstar Games no longer welcomes the so-called crunches, when developers are constantly reworking in order to have time to finish on a tight deadline, and simply burn out. The new policy boosted employee morale, but the development of the game began to move more slowly.
• The original plans were for the game's world to be larger than any other GTA game. Early designs called for the inclusion of areas modeled on large swaths of the Americas. However, the company abandoned such ambitions and reduced the main map to a fictional version of Miami and the surrounding area. But it will still be a huge world with a lot of internal locations.

• Rockstar's plan now is to continually update the game over time, adding new missions and cities on a regular basis.

Industry analysts expect the next Grand Theft Auto to release sometime between April 2023 and March 2024, but developers remain skeptical. The game has been in development in one form or another since 2014, but a slowdown in development could push back the release date.
