"Tours to cultures": an educational project about 15 peoples of Russia has been launched

The Yandex Travel service, together with the educational programs Arzamas and Ornamika, launched Tours to Cultures. This is a new project that tells about the culture of 15 peoples of Russia through texts, music and graphics.

Now he introduces the Avars, Karelians and Tatars. Gradually Kalmyks, Karelians, Komi, Nanais, Nenets, Russians, Udmurts, Circassians, Chechens, Chuvashs, Evenks and Yakuts will be added to them.

In each section dedicated to one of the nations, you can learn interesting historical facts, get acquainted with the cuisine and sights, as well as listen to local early music, including lullabies. They already available on Yandex Music as a separate playlist.

The creators of the project note that folklore experts traveled around the country for more than six months and collected lullabies for the project. They were given a modern ambient sound, and the performers were popular local artists.
