The Japanese will be able to sleep at work standing up - in vertical capsules

Two Japanese furniture brands Itoki Corp. and Koyoju Gohan KK are going to produce office sleep capsules - Nap Box. They will be vertical and take up less space than beds. In this way, corporations hope to solve the country-wide problem of overwork at work.
Constant overwork is the norm in Japanese companies. The language even has a term for daytime short sleep in conditions of regular overwork - "inemuri". This practice is considered normal in the country: if a person falls asleep in any conditions, then he is responsible and works hard.
Saeko Kawashima, director of communications at Itoki, said, “Often people who want to sleep in the middle of the working day lock themselves in the toilet, which I don’t think is normal – it’s better to sleep in a comfortable place.”
You need to sleep in a capsule standing up - like a flamingo, notes Bloomberg. Manufacturers have developed a special design to provide support for the head, knees and back and prevent a person from falling.
The inventors of vertical beds hope that the Japanese will have more full rest during the day, and companies will be able to take care of the health of their employees.
