Realme has officially unveiled its first smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the GT2 Explorer Master Edition. It also became the world's first smartphone with LPDDR5X RAM, which is 20% faster than LPDDR5.
The smartphone received a 6.7-inch FHD + AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a fingerprint scanner is located under the display. The width of the bottom frame is only 2.37 mm. On the sides are hidden pressure-sensitive triggers for games.
The main camera consists of the second generation Sony IMX766 main module (50 MP, optical stabilization, f/1.88), wide-angle Samsung JN1 (50 MP, 150°, f/2.2) and macro (2 MP, zoom up to 40x). The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 100W fast charging and comes with a compatible GaN charger in the box. According to the manufacturer, it reduces heat generation by 85% even at peak power. Thanks to this, the smartphone can be charged up to 100% in 25 minutes. It is claimed that even after 1600 recharge cycles, the battery will retain more than 80% of its maximum capacity. At the same time, the device turned out to be thin and light: the thickness is 8.17 mm (excluding the camera), the weight is 195 g.
The smartphone will be available in white and dark green standard colors, as well as a Hardcase version with light leather trim and contrasting “suitcase” corners. Prices are already known:
