NASA observatory showed a solar eclipse that was not visible from Earth

On June 29, the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), located in space, managed to capture partial solar eclipse. It was not visible from Earth.
The moon covered the star by 67%, and "the lunar mountains were illuminated by solar fire" - this is how the phenomenon was described on the SpaceWeather portal.
The observatory captured the event from its unique vantage point in space. The eclipse of this cycle can be seen from Earth on October 25. Partial crawling of the Moon on the solar disk can be observed in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Western Siberia, in the northeast of Africa, as well as in the northeastern part Atlantic Ocean.
NASA has several spacecraft that constantly monitor the Sun. The most famous of them is the Parker probe (Parker Solar Probe), which not so long ago got closer with a star. SDO, on the other hand, has a less dangerous mission - it usually studies aspects of space weather and space radiation that affects the Earth.
