An independent developer with the nickname JustAn0therAndy has released the STEPL application, which allows you to explore worlds of computer games literally with the help of their feet - just walking in place in the real world in front of computer.

To do this, players need to install STEPL on an Android smartphone and a Windows PC, log in, sync devices, select a game and put the smartphone in their pocket so that it reads the steps on the spot.

Other necessary actions in games can be performed using a connected gamepad or a keyboard that is raised for comfortable playing while standing.

The project website says that such gaming has a positive effect on physical fitness and just gives a whole new feeling of games with a large open world.

The developer notes that STEPL works with any game. You can download the application from official website project, on Google Play and Microsoft Store. You can test the service for a free three-day period, and the price of the full version will be $5.
