AirPods Pro 2 images and new features details leaked online

The 52audio portal has published new renderings of the 2nd generation Apple AirPods Pro headphones. On them you can see both the “plugs” themselves, which will not change much in appearance, and the charging case.

The source noted that despite the external similarity, the novelty will have a long list of new features and improvements. Among them:

• The updated H1 chip is expected to offer new self-adaptive noise cancellation capabilities and better performance with less power consumption.
• Find My - AirPods Pro‌ 2 will support Find My to find lost and forgotten items. Previous rumors indicated that there would be a speaker on the body of the case, allowing you to play sound when searching.

• Heart rate sensor - headphones will be able to determine the user's pulse while inside the auricle.
• Sound enhancement - AirPods Pro‌ 2 will have the same acoustics as AirPods 3, with a "combination of tuned high-amplitude drivers and wide dynamic range amplifiers". Spatial audio with head tracking is also announced.

• USB-C - instead of Lightning in the case.
• Hearing Aid Capabilities - Sound can apparently be transmitted through the charging case directly to the headphones, allowing people with hearing problems to better hear their surroundings. The source believes that what was previously described as a strap eyelet on the side of the ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2 actually serves the function of a hearing aid.
