On the night of June 24, people around the world will be able to watch the parade of five planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. About it writes science focus.
The last time the planets aligned this way was in 2004, and the next alignment will happen. only in 2040, so this event is not to be missed, especially if you have good binoculars or telescope.
However, in a clear sky, all five planets will be visible even to the naked eye, and, interestingly enough, they will appear in the same order in which they are in their orbits around the Sun.
Under ideal conditions, there is a chance to see also Uranus, which will be located between Venus and the Moon. But this is only with optical technology.
For the best vantage point, you need an unobstructed view of the eastern and southern horizons. At the latitude of Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk, it is better to watch the parade around 2:30 am (June 24). The best visibility conditions will be in the southernmost regions of the country from 3:30 to 4:00 am.
