Presented reader PocketBook Era

PocketBook has announced a new 7-inch Era reader, which is equipped with an improved E Ink Carta 1200 display with a resolution of 1264 × 1680 pixels (300 ppi density). Contrast and response speed have been improved by 15% and 20% respectively compared to the previous generation.

The manufacturer claims that 7 inches is the optimal size for the device to be convenient to use at home and take with you. Accordingly, the reader was adapted to work in different conditions: the crane supports automatic adjustment of brightness and temperature to the environment, and the case is protected from moisture according to the IPX8 standard.

The reader supports 29 formats (19 text, 4 graphics and 6 for audio books) and supports reading aloud in 26 languages ​​(their list is not specified). And for listening, you do not need to rely only on the built-in speakers or wired headphones: there is Bluetooth, so you can connect a wireless headset in a couple of seconds.

With dimensions of 134.3 × 155 × 7.8 mm, the device has a 1,700 mAh battery, which allows it to work up to a month without recharging. Used for refreshment USB-C.

PocketBook Era will go on sale in July in two colors, and the size of the drive depends on the color: in silver 16 GB of memory, and in copper - 64 GB. The basic version will cost $220 (≈12,400 rubles), the price of the older model has not yet been specified.
