It allows you to control TVs, smartphones and even virtual reality.
American startup CoX Space has announced a gadget called Vanzy. This is a miniature input device that can replace a computer mouse, trackpad, and even a gamepad. It is worn on the finger and allows you to control various techniques with the help of gestures.
The controls are fully customizable, allowing you to use Vanzy the way the user feels comfortable. The device is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and iPadOS and works with virtual and augmented reality interfaces, as well as wireless headphones, including AirPods.
The Vanzy case is waterproof and covered with frosted tempered glass, and the finger ring can be changed, like straps for bracelets like the Mi Band. The package includes a pair of silicone rings in different sizes, for $ 10 you can buy a ring made of metal links.
The battery life is not specified, but you can fully replenish the charge in just 30 minutes. The charging stand is similar to a small remote and works much like a case for TWS headphones: you charge it separately via USB-C, and then connect the wireless charging ring to it. It is noteworthy that the device can be used while charging.
Vanzy was priced at $129, but as part of crowdfunding, the device can be purchase on Kickstarter at a price of $79, which is about 7,500 and 4,600 rubles, respectively. If the project raises the required amount to launch (at the time of publication, more than $3,800 out of the $5,000 required was collected), the finished gadgets will be sent to customers in November.
