Aliens, trolls and sea monsters: Netflix showed trailers for 2022 movies

As part of the first day of Geeked Week Netflix showed trailers of several new series, and the second day was devoted to feature films and cartoons. We chose the most interesting.

Blasted

Premiere: 28 June.

A low-budget comedy about an alien invasion, one of which accidentally reveals himself at a bachelor party. The invaders will be opposed by laser tag enthusiasts.

"Sea monster"

Premiere: June.

A cartoon about hunters of sea monsters, the main one of which was Jacob Holland. On his next journey, he is accompanied by an uninvited guest, Maisie Bramble, a little girl who has sneaked onto the ship. The film was directed by Chris Williams ("Moana").

"Troll"

Premiere: unknown.

Norwegian thriller about a huge troll who has awakened after a thousand years of captivity and is heading towards the city.

"School of Good and Evil"

Premiere: autumn.

An adaptation of the first book in the Soman Chainani series of the same name. The plot revolves around the adventures of best friends Sophie and Agatha in the School for Good and Evil, an enchanted institution where children become fairy-tale heroes or villains.

"The Gray Man"

Premiere: 22 July.

A fragment of the upcoming spy thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. They play two agents who find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict. The film was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who worked on The Avengers.
