Logitech showcases MX Master 3S office mouse and MX Mechanical keyboards

Logitech has expanded the MX series of computer peripherals with three new products at once. The first of these is the MX Master 3S office mouse, whose sensor speed has increased from 4,000 to 8,000 DPI compared to the Master 3.

Due to the higher DPI, the mouse will be convenient to use with monitors with a resolution of 4K or even 8K, and the almost silent key response (90% quieter than the previous generation) makes it a good office decision. With the release of the MX Master 3S, the production of the MX Master 3 will cease, so you should hurry up with the purchase if you were going to purchase the third version.

If the main advantage of the MX Master 3S is quiet operation, then the new MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini keyboards are completely opposite to it. They focus on tactile and audible feedback when used. Given this change, Logitech is keeping the quieter office MX Keys and MX Keys Mini on sale.

They use Kailh Choc V2 switches, available in three finishes: quiet, tactile brown, clicky blue, and linear red. They are low-profile, so there is less key travel than the full-sized Cherry MX. These keyboards will suit users who are used to a laptop keyboard but want more tactility.

Both keyboards are wireless, Logitech promises up to 15 days of battery life with backlighting or up to 10 months without it. The backlight is intelligent: thanks to sensors, it is activated only when you bring your hands to the keyboard, which allows you to extend the work time. USB‑C is used for recharging.

Both the mouse and keyboards can remember up to three devices and switch between them with the press of a button. This feature is supported for both wired and wireless connections.

All three new items will go on sale before the end of the month. MX Master 3S, MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini were priced at $99, $169 and $149 respectively
