OPPO unveils Pad Air tablet, Reno 8 series of smartphones and Enco R headphones

OPPO presented a number of new devices as part of the next presentation, including one tablet, three smartphones and new wireless headphones. Let's talk about them the most important.

OPPO Pad Air

This is a new low-cost tablet that can be called a simplified version of the OPPO Pad, submitted in February. The novelty received a 10.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels and a frequency of 60 Hz.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. The battery has a capacity of 7100 mAh and supports 18W charging.

With a case thickness of 6.94 mm, the tablet weighs only 440 grams. At the back, an unusual textured insert is also used for the first time. There will be two color versions.

Among other things: an 8 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie module, four 1 W speakers, support for Dolby Atmos and a tablet version of ColorOS 12.1 as an OS. The price of OPPO Pad Air starts at 1299 yuan (≈11,600 rubles).

Oppo Reno 8

Along with the tablet, the Reno 8 line of smartphones was introduced. The base model received a 6.43-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In the hole at the top is a 32MP selfie camera.

The main module on the back is 50 MP. There are two more auxiliary ones of 2 megapixels each - one for macro, and the other monochrome.

The heart of the device was the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 (6 nm) processor, complemented by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. Battery – 4,500 mAh with 80 W charging, which allows you to replenish 100% of energy in 31 minutes.

The smartphone also received a linear vibration motor and an NFC chip. The device will cost from 2,499 yuan (≈22,300 rubles).

Oppo Reno 8 Pro

This is a more advanced model with a similar design. It has the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (4 nm) processor. It is complemented by a proprietary neural chip, a MariSilicon X image processor and a constantly active cooling system. The amount of memory is the same as the Reno 8.

The screen is 6.62 inches, E4 OLED, with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, peak brightness of 1300 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A fingerprint scanner is built under the glass, and a 32 MP selfie camera is located at the top in the hole.

The main camera includes a 50 MP module (Sony IMX766, OIS) - main, 8 MP (OmniVision OV08D10) - wide-angle and 2 MP - macro. This trio is complemented by a color temperature sensor.

The battery and charging speed are the same as the base Reno 8. The price of the model is from 2,999 yuan (≈26,200 rubles).

OPPO Reno 8 Plus

This smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max (5 nm) processor, faster memory (LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1) and an even better graphite-based cooling system. MariSilicon X is also in place.

The screen with the same parameters, but a little more - 6.67 inches. It has a built-in 32MP selfie camera (Sony IMX709, 85°) with autofocus and better optics. The main and wide-angle cameras are the same, at 50 and 8 megapixels, and the third sensor is monochrome, at 2 megapixels.

Otherwise, this smartphone is no different from the Reno 8 Pro version. Its price is from 3,699 yuan for 8 + 256 GB of memory (≈33,000 rubles).

Oppo Enco R

Headphones belong to the class of affordable TWS solutions. They received 13.4 mm drivers with a composite titanium diaphragm and an intelligent noise reduction system for calls. They connect to the source via Bluetooth 5.2.

An unusual feature is the ability to use the touch panels on the outer surface of the headphones to release the camera shutter of an OPPO smartphone - just like with a watch or a bracelet.

The case is protected from splashes and drops (IPX4), which means that the headphones are suitable for sports. In terms of atomicity, 20 hours of operation are declared, taking into account recharge from the case. The price of the accessory was only 299 yuan (≈2,650 rubles)
