One hub to solve all port problems.
Anker has announced the 563 USB-C Dock Hub, a 10-in-1 device designed specifically for Macs with M1 processors. It removes the limitation of using just one external monitor and adds enough connectors to connect peripherals and charge mobile devices.
The hub offers two HDMI and DisplayPort, which allows you to connect three external monitors at once. It is worth noting that only one of them can be 4K, and the refresh rate in such a case is limited to 30 Hz. Additional monitors can be at a resolution of no higher than 2K - but at a frequency of 50/60 Hz, depending on the connector used and the combination of external displays.
There's also a USB-C (PD) that charges your computer up to 100W, and a pair of USBs with 5Gb/s read/write speeds: one USB-C up to 30W and one USB-A up to 7.5W.. Two additional USB-A 2.0 ports are suitable for connecting peripherals and do not charge, there is also a gigabit Ethernet port and AUX.
It's worth noting that Anker clearly had the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros in mind when designing this devices: there are no slots for memory cards, although nothing prevents you from connecting a card reader to one of USB connectors.
The Anker 563 USB-C Dock is already on sale in the US, where it is priced at $229. Soon the novelty should appear on AliExpress. In addition to the hub, the package includes a 180W power adapter and a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable.
