OnePlus unveils affordable and powerful smartphone Ace Racing Edition

OnePlus has announced the Ace Racing Edition smartphone in China. The novelty is a more affordable modification of the Ace model, issued last month. Their design is different.

On the back, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition's camera design looks a bit like a flagship One Plus 10 Pro. The main photo module of the novelty is 64 megapixels (f/1.7), wide-angle 8 megapixels (119º) and there is also a small macro lens.

The display is a 6.59-inch IPS-matrix with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. Declared support for refresh rates up to 120 Hz and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. In the corner in the hole is a 16 MP selfie sensor.

Responsible for performance is the same eight-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max (5 nm), as in the Ace model. However, the Racing Edition has an improved 8-level cooling system with liquid elements, diamond thermal conductive material and ultra-high density graphite.

Complementing the gaming positioning is a HyperBoost frame rate booster and a numeric keypad co-developed with Razer. It has a recognizable corporate design and tangible tactile feedback through a vibration motor.

The battery capacity was 5000 mAh. Fast charging with a power of 67 W allows you to replenish 80% in 29 minutes. Among other things: a 3.5 mm audio jack, a fingerprint scanner in the power button on the side, stereo speakers with Dirac Audio technology, support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3.

China OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will cost from 1,999 yuan (≈19,300 rubles) for version 8 + 128 GB. There will also be a modification with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
