Google has announced the smartphone Pixel 6a - the most affordable in the line

As part of the first day of the Google I / O conference, the Pixel 6a smartphone was introduced - the youngest model of the current line. Externally, the device looks like Pixel 6, but in some characteristics it is noticeably inferior to it.

The smartphone received a 6.1-inch OLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, FHD resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3rd generation. The housing has an aluminum frame and is IP67 waterproof.

Inside is the same Google Tensor with a Titan M2 security coprocessor. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, internal memory is 128 GB. There is support for Wi-Fi 6/6e, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.

The rear camera includes the already familiar duet of the main module at 12.2 megapixels and wide-angle at 12 megapixels. There is support for recording 4K video at 30 frames per second and all branded chips for shooting. For selfies, an 8-megapixel sensor is built into the screen.

The battery has a capacity of 4306 mAh. The manufacturer promises a day of intensive use of the device. There is no wireless charging, and wired only at 18 watts.

Among other things: a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and traditional 5 years of software support for the series.

The Pixel 6a is priced at $449. Three variants will appear on sale, including the “mint” brand, which is loved by fans of the brand.
