OnePlus introduced Nord CE 2 Lite and 10R smartphones

OnePlus held a presentation of two smartphones in India: the new Nord CE 2 Lite and 10R, which became the global version of the recently introduced OnePlus Ace.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite

Unlike the usual Nord CE 2, running on Dimensity 900, the novelty received a Snapdragon 695 processor with a 5G module. The 6.43-inch AMOLED display of the base version has been replaced with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel that supports a higher refresh rate: 120 Hz instead of 90.

The camera was also affected by changes: the smartphone lost its 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, leaving only the 64-megapixel main, macro and depth sensor – both 2 megapixels. The selfie camera is still 16MP.

The 5,000mAh battery supports up to 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 shell.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will go on sale on April 30, prices are as follows:

• 6/128 GB - 19,999 rupees (≈$262).
• 8/128 GB - 21,999 rupees (≈$288).

OnePlus 10R

As already mentioned, this is a global version of the Chinese Ace, which has retained all its characteristics, including the processor MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max Exclusive to OnePlus and 6.7" AMOLED Screen with 120 Refresh Rate Hz. Triple camera: Sony IMX766 main module at 50 megapixels, plus ultra-wide angle at 8 megapixels and macro at 2 megapixels. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.

It comes in two versions: the standard 10R with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging, and also the top-end Endurance Edition with support for 150W charging - but the battery capacity is reduced to 4,500 mAh This version is able to charge from 1% to 30% in just 3 minutes, and it will take 17 minutes to fully recharge. The standard version also pleases with the speed of charging: 100% is restored in 32 minutes.

The novelty will appear on sale on May 4, the prices are as follows:

• OnePlus 10R 8/128 GB – Rs 38,999 (≈$497).
• OnePlus 10R 12/256 GB - Rs 42,999 (≈$550).
• OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition 12/256 GB – Rs 43,999 (≈$575).

Both new smartphones will be available in two colors: black and blue-green, although the shades differ.
