'A Quiet Place' spin-off to be prequel subtitled 'Day One'

Paramount Studios at CinemaCon disclosed some details about the forthcoming spin-off "A Quiet Place" - it will be called "Day One".

The picture will tell about the very beginning of the invasion of monsters, which was given minimal attention in the two original films of the series. So, the advent itself in the flashback format was shown only in the film “Quiet place - 2”, while in the first part there was not even that.

With regards to the characters, there are no details yet, but it is possible that the heroes from the island of survivors from the second film in the series will appear in the prequel.

The spin-off is being directed by Michael Sarnoski, who directed Pig with Nicolas Cage. A Quiet Place: Day One is slated for release in September 2023. The triquel will be released even later, in 2025.

Also previously announced at CinemaCon "Venom 3", the sequel to the new "Ghostbusters" and continuation Batman with Robert Pattinson.
