She can tell about the great battles of the Jedi and the Sith of antiquity.
Anime anthology released on Disney+ in 2021 Star Wars: Visions or Star Wars: Visions. Seven Japanese studios worked on it, including Production IG, known for Ghost in the Shell. This brand new project for the franchise was warmly received by critics and viewers, so Lucasfilm, apparently, she decided to launch another anthology - Tales of the Jedi or "Tales of Jedi."
The mention of the project was found in list panels of the Star Wars Celebration festival, which this year will be held from May 26 to 29.
The title of the anthology itself is a pretty important clue as to what kind of stories it has to tell. Tales of the Jedi are Dark Horse comics from the 90s that chronicle a number of significant moments in the history of the Star Wars Expanded Universe thousands of years before the events of the original films.
The comic book series consisted of eight story arcs: The Golden Age of the Sith, Tales of the Jedi: The Fall of the Sith Empire, Clue Qel-Droma and Beast Wars of Onderon", "The Saga of Nomi Sunrider", "The Freedon Nadd Uprising", "Dark Lords of the Sith", "War of the Sith" and "Redemption".
A Tales of the Jedi show could help bring some Old Republic era lore back into the Star Wars canon, and perhaps explore some of the ideas set out in Rise of the Republic.
More details at the end of May. Perhaps, the second season of "Visions" will be presented as part of the festival.
