370 - so many Russian AYYA T1 smartphones sold per quarter

Limiting the supply of imported gadgets to Russia did not help the AYYA T1 smartphone from Smartecosystem (a Rostec structure) to become popular. From January to March, its sales amounted to only 370 devices for 6.7 million rubles. About this with reference to the Svyaznoy network writes "Kommersant".

• AYYA T1 released to the Russian market in October 2021. The device runs on a MediaTek Helio P70 processor and Android 11 operating system.
• It has a 6.5″ screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (+ microSD), a dual main camera with 12 MP + 5 MP sensors and a 4,000 mAh battery with USB charging. C.
• Blocking the camera and microphone was mentioned as a key feature of the AYYA T1, which, according to the developers, should protect users from data collection.

Rostec reported that the first batch of AYYA T1 has been fully implemented. New deliveries will be based on the Russian Aurora operating system, and the main direction of development will be the expansion of the line along with the introduction of the domestic component base.
