Realme 9 affordable smartphone unveiled

Realme has officially unveiled the Realme 9 level smartphone and Buds Air 3 active noise canceling headphones. Both models are distinguished by low price tags for their characteristics.
Realme 9
The successor to last year's Realme 8, which didn't get 5G, but changed the MediaTek Helio G95 processor to Snapdragon 680, supplemented with up to 8 GB of RAM with the possibility of a virtual increase of another 5 GB (due to flash memory). The smartphone is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which occupies 90.6% of the front panel.
He was the first to receive the new 108-megapixel camera sensor Samsung ISOCELL HM6, which, due to NonaPixel Plus technology, captures 123% more light. The HM6 also combines zoom and pixel binning technologies to ensure high-quality images even at high magnifications. The main module is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120° field of view and a 2-megapixel macro camera with a focal length of 4 cm.
The fingerprint scanner is built into the display. Although the phone is only 7.9 mm thick and weighs 178 grams, it houses a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 33W Dart fast charging, thanks to which the charge from 0 to 50% can be replenished in 31 minutes.
Realme 9 will be available in Gold, White and Black starting April 12th. India will be the first to receive the novelty, the prices are already known:
- 6/128 GB - 17,999 rupees (≈$237);
- 8/128 GB - 18,999 rupees (≈$250).
Realme Buds Air 3
At the same time, the company held a full-fledged presentation of the successors of the Buds Air 2, which were first shown back in February at MWC. The headphones are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers.
According to the company, these are the first noise-canceling headphones in the world to be certified by TÜV Rhineland (usually they confirm the safety of displays). They support two devices at the same time, are Dolby Sound certified, and offer low latency gaming as low as 88ms.
From sweat and drops, they are protected according to the IPX5 standard, there is a wind filtering function when making calls. The manufacturer promises up to 7 hours of playback without noise reduction, or 5.5 hours in noise reduction or transparency mode. A fully charged case extends battery life to 30 and 22 hours respectively.
Realme Buds Air 3 will debut in India first too. They are priced at Rs 3,999 (≈$53) and will be available in white and blue. They go on sale today, April 7th.
