The same thin and light, but now with better iron.
Last year, Xiaomi showed a youth smartphone Civi, which the company itself called the most beautiful in its portfolio. Now they introduced the Civi 1S with improved performance, but in the same design.
The device is still positioned as a confident middle peasant, so the corresponding processor here is the Snapdragon 778G Plus. It is claimed that compared to the 778G in the original Civi, the smoothness of operation has increased by 27%. The chip is complemented by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is a graphite cooling system.
According to Xiaomi, the smartphone can play Honor of Kings (a popular MOBA in China) for three hours at an average frame rate of 87.7 fps, while the case does not heat up more than 42.6 ° C.
The display remains unchanged: a 6.55-inch AMOLED curved at the edges with a resolution of 2400 × 1080, a frequency of 120 Hz and a sensor sampling rate of 240 Hz. The bezels at the top and bottom are minimal: only 2.55 mm.
The 32 MP selfie camera supports various beauty features, and the Civi 1S has improved algorithms focused on improving male portraits. The main camera is triple: the main module is 64 megapixels, ultra-wide-angle 8 megapixels and macro 2 megapixels.
The 4,500mAh battery supports 55W fast charging, allowing you to fully recharge in just 45 minutes. At the same time, the smartphone is really thin: only 6.98 mm (excluding the camera module), it weighs 166 grams. Of course, the smartphone supports NFC and comes with MIUI 13 out of the box.
Pre-orders for Xiaomi Civi 1S in China are already open, the sales start date has not been announced. The smartphone will be available in the same colors as the original Civi (sparkling black, blue and peach pink), plus a new Miracle Sunshine color (light pearl shade). Prices start at 2,299 yuan ($355).
