Experts predict that stocks of imported electronics in Russia will last only until the summer

Stocks of imported electronics and household appliances in warehouses and on the shelves of Russian stores will last until the summer - for two to three months. About this with reference to retail representatives and experts write "News".

One of the sources said that stocks of computers and laptops intended for retail sales will last until August-September. But this is only on the condition that suppliers deliver batches of gadgets ordered back in the winter, and that retail does not face a wave of rush demand.

Now there are no new shipments to Russia. Only the mechanism of parallel imports will help to avoid a shortage of equipment in the second half of the year - if it finally works in the country. In this case, goods may begin to arrive from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and some other regions.

Available stocks of iPhones and Apple computers will also last until June, another source added. Some experts predict a possible withdrawal of certain brands from the country, which, together with the logistical difficulties of other companies, will significantly reduce the range of Russian stores.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, sufficient stocks have been formed as of April 13 refrigerators, washing machines, smartphones, electric kettles, TVs, desktop computers, microwaves, as well as gas and electric stoves with ovens.
