Demand for domestic OS and office software in Russia grew 6 times

Within the framework of the conference "Import substitution and a new reality in digital security", a representative of the company "Red Soft" Andrey Sviridov said that the demand for Russian-made operating systems has grown in the country by six once. About it writes TASS.

A sharp increase in the number of applications is observed from government customers - federal and regional executive authorities, as well as state corporations and companies with state participation that fell under the sanctions, added Sviridov.

Interest in domestic office software is also growing noticeably. Thus, in the last 2.5 weeks alone, the demand for MyOffice solutions has grown sixfold. At the same time, 70% of requests for testing and purchasing products fall on large commercial companies, Elena Nepochatova, commercial director of the company that developed this software, noted for TASS.

According to her, most often clients come with a request to purchase the MyOffice Private Cloud solution and help in migrating from the clouds of foreign vendors. This solution allows you to organize joint work with documents, and also provides access to files from any device, without being tied to a physical workplace.
