Today in our review - a "smart" bracelet Teslawatch T-band. His invented businessman Sergey Dulin, and produces a bracelet one of its Chinese partners. This is the first Teslawatch product that has reached the shelves.
Teslawatch story begins in 2014. Founder Sergey Dulin company has long sold a variety of gadgets and tried many "Smart" bracelets, but none of them did not satisfy in terms of reliability, quality and functionality. Having established relationships with Chinese electronics manufacturers, Doolin has assembled a team and began to develop his own bracelet. Interest entrepreneur fueled statistics. Thus, the availability of "smart" bracelets people in Europe and the United States has reached 20% and continues to grow.
A significant contribution to the development of the Chinese partner has made, for which the band also became the production startup. The first batch of Teslawatch T-band arrived in Moscow in December 2014, and as of July 2015, has already sold more than three thousand bracelets.
At the time of my call Sergey Dulin just received another batch of bracelets from China. One of them went to the editor "MakRadara".
The gray box
The courier brought a gray cube unmarked. The only sticker - purple circle. This means that I got Teslawatch T-band purple. Inside the gray box - option for retailers. I am not a fan of unpacking, so I just took everything that was lying in the box: manual, bracelet, charger and USB-cable. All looks well and creates the feeling of a good thing.

For example, in one case, it is written that the data are stored for 3 years in the cloud, in the other - that 1 year in the phone. Most likely, one of the versions forgot to update instructions. It stated that the band is working on a single charge for 21 days. Standard waterproof IP65 means that the bracelet will withstand ingress of water jets, it is possible to take a shower, but no more. Application of medical silicone eliminates allergic reactions.

Getting Started
bracelet is controlled by just one button. I click on it for 5 seconds. Successively illuminate four light signal, then a slight vibration. Bracelet activated. The basis of the interaction of the bracelet and the user - Teslawatch application. After installing the application, you need to hold iPhone / iPad sync with the bracelet. To do this, first activate the Bluetooth on the bracelet, and then in the iPhone / iPad and look forward to the end of synchronization. Thereafter Teslawatch T-band is ready for use.
Principle of operation
In Teslawatch T-band microcontroller used ARM Cortex company Silicon Labs, pressure sensors and accelerometers. There are four modes of operation: daily activity, exercise, sleep during the day, night's sleep.
Switching between modes is performed by briefly pressing the button slightly convex on the bracelet. To determine which mode is currently activated, helping the lights in the shape of the sun and crescent:
- red sun - a training mode;
- green sun - normal active mode;
- the red crescent - daytime naps;
- blue crescent moon - night's sleep.
Pressing the button for 3 seconds to activate the Bluetooth connection to the bracelet and applications.
In the "Daily Activity" wristband records data on the number of steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, time awake. In the "training" bracelet captures the workout and its intensity. In the "Dream" bracelet detects phase and bedtime. This mode is very useful in theory, as the bracelet can wake up in the most favorable to the awakening phase of the so-called "light sleep". Mode "Day Dream" works similarly.

I put the bracelet on Friday night and took him without removing the three days. Perhaps one of the main advantages of such gadgets should be their invisibility: in the style of "put-and-forget". After 4 hours back, seemingly forever lost the habit of looking on the wrist. The organism reacted as it should be - just to hand something loose, it may only be hours.
By the evening of the third day I took the natural gestures to switch modes with the bracelet activity on sleep and back.
Take, for example, my schedule for July 12 and Sunday. Here is a breakdown of my sleep by the minute and the phases.
Data on sleep are recorded in minutes. I can see when I was a light, deep and REM sleep and even the exact time of falling asleep and waking up about half a second night for 6 minutes, although I do not quite remember.
About one and a half hours I work out at the fitness club. The graph shows how many steps I have done on the simulator, elapsed time and calories burned.
Between 17:55 exercise intensity increased. However, the application does not provide information that is understood by the intensity and how it is measured.

Judging by this schedule, I spent the day in almost supine position, but it is not. Rather, I think that this is not so, but the bracelet makes it clear that in fact I spent the standard sofa serial weekends and only in the evening forced himself to move.
A spoon of tar
For three days I never worked "smart alarm clock." All adjustments I made, but the tests failed. Similarly, the function does not work, "It's time to warm up." I set the intervals of 45 minutes, but no signal has been received.
Summary
The idea of studying their own psycho-emotional and physical condition is not new and has already been implemented in dozens of other devices. Teslawatch T-band is interesting primarily in that it is, albeit at a stretch, be called the Russian project. Bracelet made qualitatively fulfills its function and requires close attention. The cost of 3490 rubles and 21 days of battery life make it competitive among similar devices. New versions of the software will sync with popular quantified self-services such as Endomondo, RunKeeper, and others. Developers actively communicate chatting in "VKontakte", so that no support will not stay.
