Vivo has released a folding smartphone-tablet X Fold

A full-fledged flagship with two top-end displays and Zeiss optics.
Vivo held a major presentation where it showed the X Fold foldable gadget. The device is analogous Galaxy Fold from Samsung is also an elongated smartphone that unfolds into a compact tablet.
The small outer screen has a diagonal of 6.53 inches and FHD+ resolution, while the inner one has 8.03 inches and a 2K matrix. Both use OLED panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+, full DCI P3 color gamut, and an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The hinge that folds the halves of the case is a special pride of Vivo. The manufacturer claims that this is a high-tech solution with which there will be no problems even after 300,000 flexion-extension. Even if you rotate a large display 80 times a day, the X Fold will last at least 10 years.
At the same time, there are practically no signs of bending in the central part of the large display, and the gap when folded is almost invisible.
The heart of the device was the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, complemented by 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage. UFS 3.1 memory. The battery has a capacity of 4600 mAh and supports fast wired charging at 66 W and wireless 50 W.
For photography, the Vivo X Fold has a quartet of rear cameras with Zeiss optics: the main one is 50 MP (Samsung GN5, f/1.75, OIS) 48 MP wide-angle (f / 2.2), 12 MP portrait sensor and 5 MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital. Both displays have holes for 16-megapixel selfie modules.
The gadget is based on Android 12 with the OriginOS shell. The price of the X Fold starts at 8,999 yuan (≈115,500 rubles).
