UnionPay is an international payment system created in China. With the help of UnionPay cards, Russians can pay abroad and pay in foreign online stores. True, not everywhere, so it is better to clarify in advance how things are on a particular site or destination. But Mastercard, Visa and JCB cards issued in Russia do not work at all in other countries. So for many UnionPay can be an alternative.

1. Rosselkhozbank
The bank offers a co-branded Mir card - UnionPay, which will work in both payment systems. It is issued as part of the Own Card product. For her, you can open an account in rubles, dollars and euros. Issuance of an instant card will cost 7.5 thousand rubles, nominal - 9.5 thousand.
They promise to pay by card cashback. There are two reward programs to choose from:
- Cashback for everything — 2-4% depending on monthly spending.
- Cashback 1.5% for everything, 15% for one category from the list, 5% for one more.
You can withdraw cash from ATMs of Rosselkhozbank and its partners for free. In third parties, you will have to pay 1% of the transaction amount for this, but not less than 150 rubles, or 3 dollars, or 2 euros (depending on the account currency).
Another option from Rosselkhozbank is the “Personal Card”. It will cost the same, but there is no reward system for holders. You can issue a co-branded "Mir" - UnionPay or only UnionPay. Maintenance will cost 200 rubles, or 6 dollars, or 5 euros per year.
2. Gazprombank
Issuing a UnionPay Smart Card will cost 15,000 rubles.
As part of the reward program, the bank offers the following options:
- Cashback 1.5% on everything.
- Cashback 1% for everything and up to 10% in the category of maximum spending - it is determined automatically.
- Miles for purchases.
- Additional interest on contributions in the bank.
The type of remuneration is allowed to change every month.
Cash can be withdrawn free of charge at Gazprombank ATMs always and three times a month within the limits of 100 thousand rubles - at other ATMs, then 1.5% of the amount, but not less than 200 rubles.

3. Solidarity
The bank offers several cards working in the UnionPay system at once.
UnionPay Gold Solidarity
Annual maintenance of a ruble card - 2 thousand rubles or free of charge if there is a contribution or credit in the bank. In Russia, you can withdraw up to 500 thousand per month without commission at any ATM. Foreign cash withdrawal operations are subject to a commission of 1.7%, but not less than 250 rubles.
They promise to accrue interest on the account balance when spending from 15 thousand per month: 9% for amounts from 15 to 300 thousand; 7% - from 300 thousand.
The card can be issued to a currency account - in euros or yuan. Annual maintenance - 20 euros or 300 yuan. In Russia, you can cash out for free up to 7.5 thousand euros per day or up to 150 thousand yuan per month. For similar operations abroad, you will have to pay 1.7% commission for a euro account, but not less than 2 dollars, for an account in yuan - 2%, but not less than 3 yuan.
UnionPay/MIR Solidarity
A co-badged card can be issued in rubles or in other currencies - euro, yuan. The conditions are the same as for "UnionPay Gold Solidarity".
UnionPay Diamond Solidarity
This is a premium card, so the annual service costs more: 6 thousand rubles a year, or 40 euros, or 600 yuan. You can withdraw up to 1 million per day, up to 1.5 million per month from a ruble account without commission. For foreign exchange - 35 thousand euros per day, 300 thousand yuan per month.
Cash withdrawal conditions Abroad similar to the previous cards, with the exception of yuan - here the commission will be 1.7%.
They promise to accrue up to 10% per annum on the balance of the ruble account.
4. Postbank
The Vezdedokhod card, which works in the UnionPay payment system, will be issued for 5,000 rubles. The service is free if you spend from 10 thousand per month, otherwise - 399 rubles per month.
You can receive bonuses with the card: 1% for all purchases and 3% for paying for goods and services in clothing and footwear stores, restaurants and cafes.
You can withdraw money from Pochtabank ATMs for free. In third parties, the commission will be 1% of the transaction amount, but not less than 100 rubles.
In addition, Pochtabank offers to issue free virtual "Online 2.0 UnionPay" card. The bank promises cashback up to 12% under the Chance program. To find out the exact percentage, you need to guess the number and roll virtual dice in the mobile application. If the numbers match, the cashback will be equal to the hidden number. In the future, they promise the opportunity to get plastic, but it is not yet known under what conditions.
5. Primsotsbank
A UnionPay card can be linked to an account in rubles or yuan. Its opening will cost 5 thousand rubles or 300 yuan. Maintenance costs 500 rubles or 30 yuan per month. The balance of own funds will be credited with 3% for a ruble account and 0.5% for an account in yuan.
You can get cash from ATMs of Primsotsbank free of charge. In third parties - with a commission of 3% of the transaction amount, but not less than 300 rubles.
But the main nuance is that Primsotsbank has a very small territory of presence - Primorsky Krai and some nearby entities. However, there is a department in Moscow.
6. Bank "Zenith"
He got on this list in advance, because so far he has suspended the issuance of UnionPay cards. Right now, the bank can only place a pre-order. But cards will be issued no earlier than May. For their release will take 1,200 rubles, if the tariffs do not change.
