HBO is preparing the fourth season of "True Detective"

HBO has launched the fourth season of True Detective. About this with reference to their sources writes Variety. A possible subtitle of the new show is Night Country or "Night Country".
The plot is being kept under wraps, but sources say the show will be set in the Arctic, where the night can last for more than 24 hours. Two main characters are also mentioned, but the names of the actresses are not revealed.
Issa Lopez, who has already worked on True Detective, has been appointed writer and showrunner for the new season. One of the executive producers will be Barry Jenkins, best known for the Knickerbocker Hospital series and the movie Moonlight.
Recall that the third season of the show, starring Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff, aired in 2019. The second season started in 2015 and starred Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch. The first season, starring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, debuted in 2014.
Over the course of three seasons, True Detective was nominated for 23 Emmy Awards and won 5 awards.
