Xiaomi introduced Redmi K50 and K50 Pro with QHD screens

According to the manufacturer, these new products have the coolest and most expensive displays among all the brand's smartphones.
On March 17, at a presentation in China, the Redmi K50 series smartphones were officially presented - two models that are very similar in appearance, but differ in characteristics.
Redmi K50
The base Redmi K50 received a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision standards and also offers DC Dimming flicker reduction technology.
The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. At the ends of the stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, and on the side there is a fingerprint scanner.
Processor - eight-core Mediatek Dimensity 8100 (5 nm). It is complemented by 8 or 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory (UFS3.1). The battery has a capacity of 5,500 mAh and supports fast charging at 67 watts.
The main camera includes modules of 48 MP (main, Sony IMX582, OIS), 8 MP (wide-angle, 119 °) and 2 MP (macro). For selfies, a 20 MP sensor (Sony IMX596) is built into the screen.
Rdmi K50 supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, NFC and the latest Bluetooth 5.3, reducing power consumption, interference and signal delay. The smartphone will cost from 2,399 yuan (≈42,200 rubles).
Redmi K50 Pro
The Pro version received the same QHD screen, but its processor is a higher level - Mediatek Dimensity 9000 (4 nm), announced only at the end of last year.
The Redmi K50 Pro also features a slightly reduced battery capacity, but with faster charging – 5,000 mAh and 120 W. Up to 100% it charges in 19 minutes.
The main camera differs only in the main sensor - it is 108 MP (Samsung S5KHM2 with OIS) instead of 48. Other sensors are the same.
The smartphone will be released in versions with 8 or 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal memory (UFS3.1). There will be four color options.
The price of Redmi K50 Pro starts at 2,999 yuan (≈52,700 rubles).
