Xiaomi introduced Watch S1 Active smart watch with NFC and Buds 3T Pro headphones

Xiaomi held a global presentation of the flagship smartphones of the 12th series, where also showed and new accessories for overseas market. Among them are two models of smart watches and one headphone.

Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active

We have already talked about the Watch S1 model - this watch is a company showed at the Chinese presentation in December. But the Watch S1 Active model was demonstrated for the first time. This is a watch modification for sports and daily activities.

The design of the Active version is less strict. The case is also made of metal, but the frame is wider and there are notches on the front. Instead of a sapphire coating, the screen has a simpler tempered glass. The display itself is the same - 1.43″ AMOLED. The strap is made of silicone.

In terms of filling and features, the Watch S1 Active is almost identical to the Watch S1. Both models offer over 200 watch faces, dual-band GPS, heart rate and SpO2 sensors, and 117 different fitness modes, including 19 professional ones.

The watch can sync with Strava or Apple Health and supports Alexa. They also have an NFC chip, which, judging by the information on the official website, will be able to be used for contactless payments in Russia when Mastercard resumes work in the country.

In terms of autonomy, up to 12 days of work are declared, and in charge saving mode - up to 24 days.

Xiaomi Watch S1 will cost $269 and Watch S1 Active will cost $199.

Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro

These fully wireless headphones are positioned as a premium solution that guarantees "studio level sound". They will try to compete with the AirPods Pro.

Inside the Buds 3T Pro are 10mm dual magnet dynamic drivers. There is support for the LHDC 4.0 audio codec and Bluetooth 5.2 with the ability to connect to two sources at once.

There is also a feature in the spirit of spatial sound from Apple. It is called "Head Movement Mode" and allows you to adapt the sound depending on the position of the user's head. This creates a realistic 360-degree sound picture, the manufacturer notes.

All this is complemented by an active noise reduction system (up to 40 dB), a transparency mode and a Dimensional Audio function for a concert sound effect.

With a case, you can count on 24 hours of battery life, without it, the headphones will work for 6 hours. Power supply is both wired and wireless.

The price of Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro will be $199.
