And it tells you how to make a backup of all data.
Company Meta announced on the official blog that Instagram introduced changes to protect users from Russia and Ukraine. Now the personal accounts of people from these countries will not show who they are following and who is following them. The general subscriptions section will also be unavailable.
Also, in the settings of accounts from Russia and Ukraine, the “Download information” section is now highlighted, which allows you to send a backup of all posts, comments and information from the profile to the mail. It is located in the "Your activity" settings item.
In addition, Instagram began to limit the impressions of publications and stories from state-owned Russian media, as well as display an appropriate warning if another user has posted a link to such in their story MEDIA.
All of these changes are now in effect, but it may take time for them to roll out to all users.
