As part of the first spring presentation on March 8, Apple introduced the 5th generation iPad Air. Outwardly, it almost does not differ from its predecessor, but new colors have appeared.
The tablet received a powerful proprietary M1 processor with a 5G modem (optional), the same as iPad Pro And macbook 2020 year. There is support for 5G. The amount of internal memory is 64 or 256 GB.
Apple has emphasized that now you can create and release applications for iOS directly from the iPad Air.
The display on the tablet is the same, with a frequency of 60 Hz (120 Hz is still only on the iPad Pro). Face ID technology also did not appear - instead, Touch ID is in the power button at the end.
Also, the tablet was equipped with an improved 12 MP ultra-wide-angle front camera with Center Stage support for tracking objects in the frame - like iPad mini 6.
The tablet supports the second generation Apple Pencil and branded clip-on keyboards. Accessories are purchased separately.
Price - from 599 dollars. The start of sales will take place on March 18. The tablet will be available in blue, grey, pink, purple and sand colors.
