And everyone who is interested in the detective stories of that time should definitely watch the trilogy written by screenwriter Boris Mozhaev based on his own stories. In addition to "The Master of the Taiga", it also includes "The Loss of a Witness" (1972) and "Preliminary Investigation" (1978).
By the way, one of the heroes was played by the legendary Vladimir Vysotsky. He even wrote several songs especially for the film.
