Meanwhile, a strange girl, Agatha, appears in town with burn marks on her face. She becomes an assistant to Havana and befriends a limousine driver named Jerome Fontana, who dreams of becoming a screenwriter.
David Cronenberg in his film not only criticizes the inhabitants of Hollywood, but also passes judgment on what modern cinema as a whole has become. Another good reason to watch this work is the strongest cast.

These three joint works of the actor and the brothers-directors are usually combined into a conditional series - the "idiotic trilogy". But in the end, Clooney and the Coens also released a fourth film, where the star again appears in the form of a klutz.

By the way, before watching, it is better to read something about the life and work of Mankiewicz and Wells, and also to get acquainted with Citizen Kane, if you have not seen it. Otherwise, many moments in the plot will not be entirely clear.
