Apple to release seven new Macs in 2022

A well-known insider shared a list of all models.
This year, the transition to Apple Silicon chips will get even more momentum with the release of many new Mac models. About it informed Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
The insider noted that the new items will be equipped with the following processors:
- new M2 chip;
- last year's M1 Pro and M1 Max;
- super powerful versions of the M1 Max.
In total, at least seven new devices are expected:
- Mac mini with M1 Pro chip;
- 13 inch Macbook Pro with the M2 chip, which will replace the 2020 model and will cost less than the 14-inch MacBook Pro;
- Mac mini with M2;
- 24" iMac with M2;
- updated MacBook Air with M2;
- a larger iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors;
- a smaller Mac Pro with the equivalent of two or four M1 Max chips.
Some new items may already be shown in Marchwhen will the first presentation of Apple in 2022. It is expected that there the company will introduce updated models of the MacBook Pro 13 and Mac mini.
The next Apple event will take place in May or June. Around this time, it is worth waiting for the Mac Pro, the announcement of which should be timed to coincide with WWDC. Although the company can release a computer for sale only in the fall.
Toward the end of the year, for the holiday season, Apple plans to release a new MacBook Air, the insider added. Although it was previously thought that this laptop could be announced along with the 13-inch MacBook Pro model in the spring.
