Galaxy S22 Ultra and S21 Ultra cameras compared on video

A new video has been released on the Danny Winget YouTube channel. In it, the author compares the cameras of two Samsung flagships: last year's Galaxy S21 Ultra and the new S22 Ultra, which will go on sale March 11.

Both cameras give excellent results in daylight, but under specific shooting conditions. often wins the Galaxy S22 Ultra: thanks to improved detail enhancement algorithms and noise reduction.
With increased contrast, the 2022 model also stopped whitening the face, retaining a more natural skin tone, while photos still come out reasonably bright. A more natural processing style is also noticeable when shooting with night mode. While the S21 Ultra brightens up the shots, the S22 Ultra retains the feeling that the subject was shot in the dark and doesn't try to turn the night into day.
The new approach to processing also affected the shooting speed: the author notes that if the S22 Ultra is for shooting took 2 seconds of exposure in night mode, the S21 Ultra took 3 seconds in the same conditions.
