They allow you to always hear what is happening around, without using microphones for this.
Sony has officially announced LinkBuds miniature TWS earbuds with a unique design. The shape of the sound guide they have is made in the form of a ring or "donut", as write foreign publications.
This view and the hole in the center allow the user to hear their surroundings even when playing music. That is, this does not require additional microphones that allow you to redirect external sounds.
Sony believes that LinkBuds is the best solution for those who need to always hear what is happening around. For example, headphones are perfect for jogging on the street, cycling or public transport.
For sports scenarios, each earpiece has a flexible, replaceable “hook” for a more secure fit in the ear. It also provides IPX4 splash and sweat resistance.
Complementing all this is the function of adaptive volume control, noise reduction for calls, support for Google and Amazon voice assistants, as well as the ability to quickly launch Spotify without touching smartphone.
The battery in LinkBuds lasts for 5.5 hours, and the charging case provides a total of 17.5 hours of listening. There is a fast charge: 10 minutes of recharge will provide 90 minutes of music.
The headphones were priced at $180 (≈13,500 rubles). They will be available in light and dark versions.
