23 micro habits that will brighten up your life
Miscellaneous / / January 30, 2022
These actions will allow you to develop in any area, and they are also very easy to perform.
Introducing good habits into your life is difficult, especially at first. Sprint mode doesn't work here. Many major changes at the same time rarely lead to the desired result. And overly ambitious tasks are not always possible to solve immediately.
Many hope for special methods of introducing healthy habits. If we come across a good system, we can focus on repetitive actions that bring results. A good and well-learned system will gradually make good habits something automatic. However, any method needs time to start working. It is better to stick to a consistent and simple plan. This is exactly what the system of microhabits is.
What are microhabits
Small daily changes are far more beneficial than big changes that we can't always manage. This is how micro-habits work – they are simple actions that slowly but surely make life better.

Success is nothing more than a few simple rules that we follow every day. And failure is a few mistakes that we repeat every day.
Microhabits should be so easy and not burdensome that it is simply impossible not to follow them. Gradually, a cumulative effect will work, which will develop the ability to be systematic. And this will help to introduce new habits into your life.
What Micro Habits Can Benefit You?
Each of them develops a certain area of life and helps to build high-quality models of behavior.
1. Start the day with at least one glass of water. The body needs moisture before an invigorating cup coffee.
2. Set aside a few minutes every morning to think about the day ahead and prepare for it.
3. Postpone checking email and social media to enjoy the calm of the morning.
4. Set a goal to read one or two pages of a book instead of a whole chapter.
5. Don't turn your morning workout into a chore. Spend 5 minutes or less plank, push-ups and any other exercises, instead of doing 1.5 hours.
6. Meditate not ten, but one minute a day. Any activity that is difficult to perform is unlikely to become a habit.
7. Choose a healthy breakfast - with whole grains, proteins and other healthy ingredients.
8. Set a limit on the number of decisions you make in the morning. If you do too many tasks at once, it will quickly lead to fatigue. It's also helpful to keep an eye on your energy levels when you're doing the most important things in the morning.
9. Get rid of any distractions before starting work. These include notifications on the phone or extra tabs in the browser. Try turning on soothing music to get you ready for the day.
10. Make a to-do list before bed and look at it every morning to start the day productively. Include in your schedule everything you need to do, what meetings to catch, and so on. This will help you focus solely on completing tasks.
11. Schedule short breaks during the work day, such as taking a 5-minute break after every hour of hard work.
12. Listen to podcasts, read informative articles, or go outside during these breaks. This will help free your head from unnecessary thoughts and return to productive work.
13. Break things down into the simplest steps that can be completed quickly, and focus on small wins in the morning.
14. To plan walks outdoors for a week. Even after 10 minutes spent in the park, you will feel much better.
15. Tidy up your desk at the end of each day so you don't have to do it in the morning.
16. Make a healthy menu - eat more vegetables, berries, fruits, dark chocolate, fish, nuts and other healthy foods that will give energy for the whole day.
17. Dedicate at least 30 minutes each evening to your hobby. Let it be an activity that relaxes and brings joy.
18. Practice three-minute reviews of the day - before going to bed, write down three victories or mentally note what happened today.
19. Break important life goals down into daily steps and try not to skip any.
20. Come up with a special ritual before going to bed, such as reading a book to calm down.
21. Set up sleep patterns. This will increase productivity.
