Suunto 5 Peak sports smartwatch with 7-day autonomy introduced

The Finnish company Suunto has introduced a smart watch for athletes Suunto 5 Peak. Compared to the previous model, Suunto 5, they are thinner and significantly lighter - only 39 grams.
The screen of the accessory is round, matrix, with a diagonal of 1.1″ and a resolution of 218 × 218 pixels. Its bezel is made of steel, and the case itself is plastic and completely waterproof (up to 30 m).
In addition to tracking physical activity, measuring heart rate and monitoring sleep, the watch offers more than 80 sports modes. Many of them are for open areas. For such scenarios, a built-in GPS module and 3D thermal maps are provided in the mobile application.
There is also support for smartphone notifications and the ability to control music.
In terms of autonomy, the manufacturer promises 7 days in normal mode with all notifications, and with GPS turned on - from 20 to 100 hours, depending on the selected navigation mode.
Rated Suunto 5 Peak at 30 900 rubles. The watch will go on sale in spring 2022.
