So that all devices and protocols are compatible, and residents use a single application.
The Ministry of Digital Development, together with the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, developers and IT companies, is working on uniform standards for a “smart” apartment building. About it writes Kommersant, referring to a letter from the deputy head of the department, which was sent to representatives of Yandex, Rostelecom and 38 other organizations.
The letter contains a project that already includes a minimum list of services that allow calling a house and an apartment “smart”. Among them: a platform for monitoring all services, a system for recognizing faces and car numbers, systems for monitoring housing and communal services infrastructure.
An expanded package of "smart" solutions is also mentioned, including a concierge robot, a delivery robot, a cleaning robot and other digital employees.
The source clarifies that the main goal of the project is to introduce common data exchange protocols and similar solutions for all developers and IT companies. This will allow organizing a single digital environment so that all devices and systems are compatible with each other. Users, even after moving, will be able to simply connect to another apartment without changing the application on their smartphone.
In addition, a single standard should form a market for unified solutions of domestic manufacturers, reducing dependence on imported products and eliminating the risk of data leakage abroad, added to the Ministry of Digital Development.
Discussion of the project with all interested companies will take place on January 21.
