Podcast "Now I understand": myths about history as a science
Miscellaneous / / January 12, 2022
These truths were not taught to many of us in school. And in vain!
History is not as rigorous a science as physics or chemistry. But still science. And in it there is a place not only for stories about rulers and wars, but also for describing the life of ordinary people. At the same time, knowing the dates and names of historical figures does not mean knowing history. It is important to be able to build and see cause and effect relationships. Studying the past helps to better understand the present, rather than knowing the future. Listen to all of this in more detail in the new episode of the Now Understood podcast.
