Black + Decker Unveils Home Drinking Machine For Making Cocktails
Miscellaneous / / January 06, 2022
Works like a capsule coffee machine, but with gin, rum, tequila, vodka and whiskey.
Black + Decker (Black & Decker brand) brought for CES 2022 a vending machine alcoholic cocktails Bev. He mixes drinks on his own, taking into account the set program.
Visually, Bev resembles a coffee machine with five metal pipes immersed in alcohol bottles up to 750 ml. It should be gin, rum, tequila, vodka and whiskey - each pipe for a certain drink.
There is also a container for water used to flush the system, and a compartment for a special capsule containing the base of the cocktail - juices and bitters. They are produced by the partner company Bartesian, which has already developed about 40 different cocktail concentrates.
On the lid of each capsule there is a special barcode by which the system recognizes which cocktail needs to be prepared. The user only has to select the strength of the drink and the volume using the controls on the Bev body.
The required alcoholic beverage will mix with the contents of the capsule and will be in your glass in less than 30 seconds.
Bev does not connect to a smartphone - the device does not have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, but there is a "party mode" with LED bottle lighting. Such a car will cost 300 dollars (≈23,000 rubles). Bartesian capsules will cost $ 3 (≈230 rubles) per piece or $ 15 (≈1,200 rubles) for 6 pieces.
